"Therefore I run in such a way as not to run aimlessly; I box in such a way, as to avoid hitting air; but I strictly discipline my body..." (I Corinthians 9:26-27a.)

And so it begins! I am blessed with a lot of vitality and energy. Still, before the New Year hits, I am determined to increase my stamina for when our little bundle arrives. True, I have plenty of help caring for our little one, but I am SO looking forward to being a mom! When he/she stirs at night, I want to be the one to hold them in my arms and rock her back to sleep. By God's grace, I dream of playing with them throughout the day, teaching shapes, colors and numbers. I know I'll need a nap at some point, but that's when hubster or my mother-in-law can coddle our bundle of joy!


So, here we go! Workout time! This is a new year approaching, and the theme for my life (in part) is balance. Time for Jesus, prayer, working out, hubbie, friendships, work and play! Say a prayer for me! Let the games begin.
