Getting Certified

“I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him." 1 Samuel 1:27

The paperwork is done. The home study completed. The room is almost ready. The wait begins. We pray it shall be short. After meeting with some of the kindest people on earth, we are moving forward with the legal and logistical parts of this process. We are open and ready. Now we wait for the Lord to bring the perfect little one(s) to complete our family.

It went so smoothly! As I reflect on the home study and our initial meetings with the attorneys, I cannot imagine working with better people. Everyone has been so thoughtful and supportive as take a step out of the boat.

What Remains

“And, 'I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'” 2 Corinthians 6:18

We have notarized our Adoption Certificate, so now we wait for the official copy from the courts. Then we wait and pray. God knows where our little ones are, and we are excited to welcome them home.
